As a church, we believe the Bible is God’s Word and that it should not be changed to fit what society would like. That’s what we preach and teach, and strive to live by God’s grace.

Family Focused…

Families worship and receive communion together. We work to provide families the special care and support they need these days. As a church, we strive to be the loving and supportive family many people wish they had, and that is what we help our families to become.

Kid Friendly…

God loves kids and so do we. Our new children's ministry is specifically designed to teach them about God while having lots of fun in the process.

With a Small Town Feel…

Small town feel means that our church is like a family. We love, encourage, and support one another through the ups and downs of life. We accept one another as the unique people God has created each of us to be.

First and foremost we are a Christian Church. This means we follow Jesus Christ and trust in Him alone for the forgiveness of our sins, the restoration of our broken relationship with God, and the promise of never-ending life in Heaven with God.

Why is "Lutheran" in our name and what does it mean?

First and foremost, we are a Christian Church. This means we follow Jesus Christ, place our faith in Him alone for the forgiveness of our sins, and make Him the Lord of our lives.

We believe that the Bible is much more than a rule book that tells us how we are to live our lives. In fact, it alone is God’s Word to humanity, and its main message is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was sent by Him to save us from the punishment for our offenses against God.

The Birth of the Lutheran Church...

Like others in the 16th century, Martin Luther became frustrated that the Church of his day had strayed from the truth of God's Word and what it actually teaches about Jesus.

As a result of his efforts to reform the Roman Catholic Church, many others agreed with his conclusions. While it was never Martin Luther's intent to start a new church, over time those who agreed with his understanding of the Bible were called "Lutherans" and the "Lutheran Church" was born. It became one of the very first of the Protestant Churches coming out of the period known as The Reformation.

Lutherans believe that the Bible is much more than a rule book that tells us how we are to live our lives. In fact, it is God’s Word and its main message is that Jesus Christ saved us from eternal death.

Martin Luther said of the Bible, "Whoever believes and holds to Christ's Word, heaven stands open to him, hell is shut, the devil is imprisoned, sins are forgiven, and he is a child of eternal life. That is what this book teaches you - the Holy Scripture - and no other book on earth."
